Tea Party Patriots, The New-Age Political Watchdogs.
The Tea Party Movement started by conservative and libertarian Americans in protests in April 2009. Soon, across the United States, concerned citizens form local groups as a way to get involved and get their voices heard.
The Tea Party Movement is not affiliated with the Republican Party. While many values of Liberty and Small Government may be shared, the Leicester / Holden / Paxton / Rutland Tea Party Group does not endorse or back any political candidate as an organization. Individuals are encouraged, however to get involved, educated, and support candidates that will speak for their viewpoints.
